Shift-it Pete - cleaning products and ‘fixer’

Phoenix and Arai - how cool are these guys! A new Arai helmet and a good day out! I like their showroom, it has a calmness about it seldom found.

East Midlands Hydraulics - fun and lively and better than Goodridge

Rock Bloc at Whitwell on Rutland water - Richards gradually getting excited
Motorworks - at least they took back the Goodridge rubbish! No No NO NO NO I recind this! Nothing, Nothing at all fitted the bike. Absolutely nothing. Even though they had the frame number the whole lot turned out to be tosh and I had to buy again from BMW at very short notice. I dont even have enough time now to send the rubbish back to them.

RAC - Carnets Do I need to say it? If I need to say it then you haven’t called them. . . . . . . Paul Gowan. Go and call him.
Zed the Red. Looking forward to this post, Ill descirbe more about him around April 27th.

Nigel Pond - patient web wonder, needs a haircut.

Stahl Koffer - panniers and more Still to be sorted but Im feeling good about this. While Bernie can rattle sometimes, at least its positive, friendly and striaght forward.

Grippers Motorcycles - oil, tyres, fluids and spares. A bit of a journey but worth it, these guys have their heads screwed on to simple life with good service and fair ideas.

Elizabeth at Riders for Health -Gambia looks like it could be an experience.
Aluminium Keith in Nottingham - again a guy with a zest, helpful and can see past whatever is in front of him to where it may end up.

Hardy Signs - doing the signs on the bike!

Hi Jo, Getting close now, will have some stickers for you from both Arai and Shift-It, sorry it has taken so long but I think it is just me wanting to bring them to you myself when you are half way round!!!!!!! I hope to see you before you go to wish you luck personaly, but if I dont, remember the blog you wrote about the adverse comments, then say SHIT TO YOU, I AM RIGHT AND I AM GOING TO DO IT. I for one am so envious of your trip, (it makes Carl and my runs around Europe seem very tame) and I will of course be following you all the way, and yes I will even phone you while you are away, most likely when I am pissed at Skeggie and heading to a nice warm bed. Jo you are a hero, have a great trip, and take care, I want to hear all your stories when you get back. Pete

    Hi Jo,
Yes going to Donnington quite a bit this year as I have just spent a great afternoon at the “Haslems”, meeting Leon, Holly (Leon’s girlfriend, Ron and Ann (Ron’s wife). What a nice family they all are, I sat in the kitchen with Ann and discussed the business and both Ron and Leon kept popping in and out, also to see Leon’s WSB race gear just thrown over the settee was slightly surreal, loved them. We discussed Shift-it supplying their race school at donnington with product, I did not need to do a hard sell with the product, they are using Arai’s and if you remember, the guys at Phoenix dont like people using any products on Arai’s except Shift-It, with that I think I better send you some visor wipes for at least while you are in Europe, Just thought, they might come in usefull when you run out of loo paper, (we only guarantee no streaks on visors!!!!). I am also sending you some Arai and Shift-It stickers for your bike and helmet, I am going to try my best to come down on the 3rd for a good night and also to wish you look, if for some reason I dont make it, have a great adventure and I am not the slightest bit jealous(You know I am)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Pete
