And next…

June 25th, 2009

I didnt leave this morning because…I was lazy after a nights drinking!
So I met Vstas in the Coffee lounge (again with the coffee thing…Im gonna open a milk bar…) and then went to the hill of crosses, turned out at 140 miles north of here so was bit of a trek because the roads are pretty boring to get there, but as i got there the skies opened into beautiful blues and fluffy white clouds…in time for the photo shoot!
Interesting but religious again…seems everything to view here is religious in its content somewhere along the line, and of course has the obligertory Russian horror story attached to it about how it was to be destroyed to more evenly fit the Russians aims during their second occupation.
Spectacular that so many people believe in the healing power of the cross to place it on this hill…well its more of a small mound really.
So tomorrow is Trakai now and hopefully Ill see the castle and then go out on a boat around the lake that also has a jazz band on it. then head to Poland for the prehistoric forests and Ive found a 2 music festivals in the streets of Hungary I think ill keep in mind.

Probably be a while until my next post so heres wishing you all plenty of smiles and sunny days until then.
xx

    hey jo,
thanks for the wooden spoon, has pride of place in the bowl of the big one. See that you keep on re-discovering alcohol and gorgeous women, they are an East european cultural speciality, but i’m not sure about this, so keep researching, i’ll do the same and perhaps we can write a learned paper one day.
Just got back from rally Poland, first time that a round of the World Rally Championship has been held in Poland. It was spectacular, the cars doing over 200 km/h on narrow sandy tracks. We took a bunch of off road bikes and went crazy riding between stages but only minor damage to humans and machines. Glad your off wasn’t too serious, mostly an ego bruising by the sound of it!
Anyway, if you’re heading for Hungary I have a bunch of spectacular…(ly intelligent….) women working for me there. Our office is in Szombathely in the south, so if you want I’ll give you numbers, email etc. In Budapest there’s a huge rock festival on Szeged island some time soon, I’ve never been but reports are that it’s really good, maybe thats one of the ones you have found. on your way south of budapest be sure to visit Szomlo, its a volcanic outcrop near lake Balaton, covered in vineyards that yield fabulous wine. We watched the ‘99 total eclipse from the top of the hill which was so weird that I nearly got religion, luckily managed to swerve that one and got a hangover instead.
Anyway, have fun, keep shiny side upwards and let us know what you are up to.

    Cheers
    Zed

Of course I want their numbers….line me up a single gorgeous girl aged 18- no doesn’t matter any age, as long as she has her own teeth and needs a English Visa & Green card!
