I feel so remote from all the gossip… What’s going on that I should know?????
Been to Auschwitz today. Dunno what to say really, except I have no idea how other humans can be so evil to each other. Having odd dreams at the moment. Last night I was in Star Trek! Hope to be in a different movie tonight…weather is great again, can you tell me forecast for 5 days from Krakow to Warsaw? xXxx
EDIT: Forecast sent by female Jo

A hard days ride today after a few days rest. Now in Poland, the roads here were incredible and the sights of old worn buildings was as you see in films of 50 years ago. I hit a major town at five and it was hard work. Just put up tent and watching sun go down. Poland is going to be good…xxx

I’ve had a great time the last few days. Again the people I’ve met have been fantastic, really kind to my strange face! I worried a little about Czech, but everyone from the woman giving directions today to Peter Jana and Vana have made me think smiles really are international and worth looking for. Poland tomorrow a bright new day I hope xxx

Found the coolest place in the world to stay for a few days, you will never find it on google earth, I’ll send co-ordinates later. A single Amazonian dark haired chick runs it alone. I hope she takes advantage! She is like a tough, fit Charlie Dimmock with dark hair and combats!!!

You wouldn’t believe me if I told you, so look on Google earth! I’m in a forest of pine trees in a house the sleeps three, with no other rooms and a connection to Blair Witch that would make you quiver with fear. The owners are fantastic fun and can’t do enough to please. I’m loving my new Amazonian friend AND her husband.
I doubt you can see the house its only 10/10 feet square under some trees, wait till you see the photos! Xxx
Night lovelies, I must take a picture through the woods at night for you xxxxxx

Campsites closed due to orthodox Christian holidays! Czech getting better now I’m settling in, but still a place not to relax much. Tyres changed and lost some baggage so reduced by 25kg since I left. No loss from me though! Baggage I’ve thrown away to make room and to be less conspicuos with tied on stuff. All my strange rashes gone so I’m peak health!
It’s a good place tonight. In fact it’s beautiful old walled cottage gardens. I have a room.
Roller coaster huh! Xx
Planning might of helped !!!!
Dudes…hello from Prague. Very hot here but no campsites open for some reason, I think I might head to the border up north to camp in germany while I find the church of bones and prepare a race through Czech into Poland.
My leg aches at my hip but other than that the bike and the Jo are good. It’s a difficult thing on your own as keeping things as safe as possible is always an issue…some parts of Czech have a cowboy border town feel to them. Very grubby and old. To answer Dans question….Yes Czech girls are fantastic and look more like ‘TV people’ than anything else, especially now the weather has improved.
Spoke to a guy from Latvia this morning, he says their GDP is at -12% so they have over 50% unemployment and they think the government will be broke in a month!!

There was once a Jo and three Czech woodsman, with big axes, stakes, wedges and hammers. None of them could break the tyre off the rim, although trying from 10am till 3pm. Eventually they all gave up and had a BBQ and beer by the lake and swore that if they ever found the Englishman with a g cramp….
Photos don’t do this place justice. People today been cool and very helpful. Been cutting wood with them and had Sunday dinner with family. BBQ tonight, then tomorrow they take me to get help with bike.

After a few wet days I’ve had a change you cant imagine. From rain to sun to cold with altitude +1000m and to snow, from pure accurate Germany 2 softer Austria and now Czech in the 1960’s, all in a day! At first Czech worried me, its a place to be on guard, but very intriguing.
Xxx love u all.

I know this will sound very stupid of me, but I never planned for weather like this. I have the new part for the bike, but cant fit it without getting soaked. Everything is wet through, it hasn’t stopped raining for two days. I thought of moving on south today but was just too cold and wet. Birget and Tom and little Philip have been fantastic and dryed me out and been very good fun. We will see what tomorrow brings but I may make a dash for the Czeck border and try to find a dry block house to stay in.
Love to you all xxx
